Deploy & Install: Miscellaneous of Revit Manifest Organizer

In this post, let us look at something that has not been covered yet but is also pretty useful. The miscellaneous stuffs we are going to talk about in this post do not mean the Other Options in the Revit Manifest Organizer window.

Firstly, let us see how to rename a manifest file.

Though it is not so apparent, it is actually easy and nature to use. Only two mouse clicks are necessary to enable the renaming functionality, the first of which is to highlight the manifest item in the list and the other is to enable the editing. All the two clicks use the left mouse button. Please just leave a pause (a second or half is sufficient) between the two clicks, otherwise, Windows will mistake the operation as double clicks and will check or un-check the item of interest instead. By the way, it is not necessary to check the item before renaming it.

Secondly, how to switch to a different folder than the current selected one?

Simple. Click the Select radio button again.

If some files have been copied or moved to/from the folders of interest and the items in the lists do not syncharize automatically, what should we do?

Please press the Refresh button under the list or the Refresh All to reload both lists.
