As announced before, Revit Addin Wizard (RevitAddinWizard) and its various wizards, coders and widgets have supported Revit API 2012 additionally natively and seamlessly.
In this post, let us have a look at the options about Revit Manifest Organizer. The version 2012 support has added one more option, the VendorId as can be imagined:
It intelligently shows up if the Revit version is set as 2012 and hides itself for version 2011.
If the VendorId has ever been set in the RevitAddinWizard pages and any other applicable places, its value will be defaulted as the last one. At the same time, whenever the VendorId is changed in the above dialog and the OK button is pressed afterwards, the value will be used for all other similar purposes later on.
Why is the VendorId necessary to be there?
One purpose is for reminder, and another is for some features to use such as Create New, Check Integrity regarding missing VendorId and Add Missing VendorId. The Check Integrity feature does not take care of the case that existing VendorId values do not match with the given one. If necessary, Revit Manifest Organizer can surely add it. Please feel free to comment.
