A New Widget of Revit Addin Wizard: Project Renamer – Rename Solution Folders

In this article, let us look at a new widget that Revit Addin Wizard (RevitAddinWizard) provides, Project Renamer. As its name indicates, the widget is to help rename some projects of the current open Visual Studio solution. If necessary, the solution and the chosen projects can be copied to a new location beforehand.

It can be found from the Revit Addin Widget menu group or the toolbar:

We have demonstrated how to rename some projects of the current open Visual Studio solution before. In this post, let us see how to rename Visual Studio solution folders if any in the current open solution.

If a solution looks like the following which contains two solution folders,

and we have specified so in the following Project Renamer window,

we will get what we want:
